Surtitling is a free service offered to customers. It is not included in the price of the ticket. Therefore, the absence of surtitles following a failure of the equipment or for any other reason and also its non-visibility in certain seats shall not given any entitlement to a refund or to any compensation.
Purchasers are invited to enquire at the Box Office of the Opéra Royal de Wallonie regarding the seats where the surtitling is visible.
Any performance may be the subject of a video recording or of a broadcast on television or by any other means of broadcasting. In this instance, spectators will be advised by posters before entering the auditorium.

After the various stages of the booking process and the validation of your payment, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your transaction and telling you your reference number. From this moment, no refund will be possible except in the situations referred to in point 10 of these terms and conditions of sale.
Booking via the internet and payment by credit card of seats purchased spontaneously by customers are not classified as distance-selling of products or services and do not therefore give an entitlement to a 14-day cooling-off period.

Season tickets must be booked and paid for in accordance with the procedures specified in the application forms accompanying the season brochure.
We do not accept any cancellation after the seats have been paid for by the customer. As regards performances, the case law considers that the relationship that is established between a Théâtre which announces a performance and indicates the prices of the seats and the time of the performance and a spectator who purchases a ticket, whatever the payment method (cash, cheque, credit card, money order), is a contractual relationship. Under these conditions, it is only if the performance company does not fulfil its obligation that the spectator may request a refund or dispute the contract.
The Opéra Royal de Wallonie reserves the right to refuse access to the auditorium for security reasons.
The ticket holder must comply with the regulations and practices of the auditorium, whatever the performance.
Any dispute, of whatever nature, must be expressed in writing at the latest on the evening of the performance. No subsequent claim may be taken into account.

Spectators are liable for any direct or indirect damage which they may cause on the occasion of their presence at the Théâtre royal de Liège.
Tickets do not give any entitlement to a recording of the performance. Any recording, in whatever form, including photographic, is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to initiate proceedings in respect of compensation for the damages sustained.
