During the 2021/22 season, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège will be proposing a new event open to artists and the general public: 6 days of a Master Class based on the bel canto style.

A tasty and musical meeting for all the family: after a top quality brunch at the Foyer Grétry, the children are taken on a fun discovery of the opera, whilst their parents can enjoy a relaxing moment set to music.

The Opera House is a living venue of creation that opens its doors for many free events. The open days combine themed guided tours with activities and workshops that give a close up look at the artistic and technical professions and know-how involved.

These original and varied activities at the opera house as well as the scenery and costume workshops help to explain the wings, music and production of the performances!

Each evening, compered by the speaker Jean-Marc Onkelinx, is an opportunity to gain better understandings of underlying themes in works, the composer’s intentions or even the context in which the work was produced. As a bonus, during these events, various artists from the performance in question will also be present to make these evenings unforgettable moments.
