N.I.L.A.C. Winners' Concert

Pride of place for song

A new date to put in your diaries without further ado! On the initiative of Guido Jardon, director of the IMEP, the first edition of the Namur International Lyric Art Competition (NILAC) will take place from Saturday 13th to Friday 19th April 2019.

Its aim is to promote the professional careers of young opera singers of all nationalities, aged from 18 to 33 years old.

Throughout the competition, they will have the opportunity to find their feet, like professionals, and the final will provide them with the chance to perform in a stage setting in front of a jury made up of major opera house representatives, artistic agents and an internationally renowned opera singer.

On this occasion, in addition to the awarding of the five prizes and Public Prize, the winners will earn the right to participate in two prestigious concerts, accompanied by the orchestra of the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, as well as taking part in a master class given by a renowned opera singer.
