“Creativity is about inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes… and having fun.” Mary Lou Cook
A participative opera
From 5 years old
Filled with fantasy and humour, this adaptation invites you to accept change and develop your creativity to reveal your true personality. With its many references to the original work and the world of fables, it will delight children and adults alike. This is a cutting-edge production to discover the irresistible music of Rossini.
For a long time, Berte the owl has been living in a pleasant little woodland called the Bois joli but an eccentric neighbour starts to seriously annoy her, none other than the fox Figaro! He has lots of ideas, some of which are quite hair-raising: a curl of hair here, a mullet there, quite unprecedented…! For Bartolo the badger, enough is enough. “Scissors, razors, combs and brushes: throw them in the bin,” he says. However, Rosine the weasel, who is usually so discreet, thinks that the wood’s inhabitants are scared of new ideas… Now it is her turn to want to be original! She dreams of becoming the greatest hatmaker in the Bois joli. Basil, the cheekiest squirrel in the forest, is naturally in cahoots with her! Is Figaro’s dishevelled fantasy contagious?
