It was in October 2020 that Guillaume Tourniaire performed on our stage for the first time, directing Hamlet by Ambroise Thomas in a spectacular production by Cyril Teste. Due to the current health crisis, we unfortunately had to cancel the performance right after the dress rehearsal … Nonetheless, the latter enabled our teams to truly value his deep affinity with French opera.

Using online streaming, the Maestro returns for a concert in a programme based on Hamlet, a wonderful way to benefit from the work undertaken on this French operatic masterpiece.

Alongside the Belgium soloists Jodie Devos, Marc Laho and Lionel Lhote, also discriminating enthusiasts of this repertoire, the Maestro will present a selection of melodies and scenes of French Romantic opera with Bizet, Massenet and Adam.
