Chamber music concerts in the Foyer
Traditionally based in the orchestra pit, the musicians of the Orchestra of the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège play an active part in each of our productions. While forming the orchestral ensemble which, under the direction of the conductors, accompanies and supports the singing, many of them also excel in the field of chamber music.
So, from 14 January 2024, a new series of concerts entitled Musica da camera will give them the opportunity to perform in a more intimate setting, where their individual skills will be fully showcased.
These monthly events, held one Sunday a month at 11am, will take place in the prestigious setting of the Foyer Grétry. These chamber music concerts, arranged by the musicians themselves, will feature a diversity of composers and original instrumental formulas. These unique, immersive and intimate musical moments will be accessible to all.
