About the performance

Far, far away from here, in a fabulous forest hidden in India, there is a very beautiful young girl blessed with an entrancing voice. Lakmé is her name. In her little (en)chanted world, there are thousands of birds and an extremely absolutely completely extraordinary friend… Everything seems so idyllic, but what if appearances were deceptive?

A brand-new adaptation has been commissioned from Marie Neyrinck, whose work has already been acclaimed by children and adults alike in Nabuccolo and Carmencita et les dragons. This modest story conveys grand values, such as friendship, freedom and otherness, allowing an active discovery of Léo Delibes’ irresistible music.
