COPRODUCTION → ORCHESTRE PHILHARMONIQUE ROYAL DE LIÈGE, CAV&MA AND PALAZZETTO BRU ZANE
IN COLLABORATION WITH THE OPÉRA ROYAL DE WALLONIE-LIÈGE

César Franck was admired worldwide for his instrumental music and was an irrefutably distinguished opera composer. To celebrate his bicentenary, the OPRL is performing the most undeservedly forgotten of this masterpieces Hulda (1882-1885), a romantic tragedy which takes place in an ominous Viking world. Fostering dramatic, sensual, and harmonic twists into an orchestration of refined sonorities, Hulda corroborates the tragic spark of Franck, an ear-pleasing delight for opera lovers! A memorable concert version!
